WikiPad, A Gaming Console Plus Tablet

With brand new tablets coming out almost every single day the common man must have definitely lost track of all the technological advances that take place nowadays. Well here is some good news for all those gamers out there. The Android based gaming tablet, WikiPad, is to be released on 31st October,2012. WikiPad is a private company named after its first 'to be released' product, the WikiPad tablet.
WikiPad is an extremely high-end tablet. With a 1280x800 display, the gaming tablet has a 10.1 inch scratch resistant Gorilla glass screen. Neat! Built on a 1.4 GHz quad-core processor this tablet has an internal memory of 16GB (expandable upto 32GB) and consists of a 1GB RAM. Since this tablet is new to the market,it is only right that it should be built on the latest Android software, the Android 4.1 Jelly-Bean.

Here comes the most interesting fact about the WikiPad. It comes with its very own detachable controller containing a set of buttons and dual analog sticks. Now that's cool.
After all this you must be wondering how much would the cost of this gadget be. Well it starts at an introductory price of $499. That's not cheap. WikiPad CEO,James Bower, defends the $499 price tag that comes with his tablet. He says that "If you're going to spend $249 to buy a PS Vita and $499 for an iPad,why not buy the WikiPad for $499? That way you can have the best of both worlds". Well he does have a point there.
